About Our Beeswax Candles
What are Lumin Wick candles made from?
All of our candles are made from 100% pure, organic beeswax sourced from ethical and sustainable beekeepers. We do not use soy, paraffin, coconut, palm, or blended waxes — only natural beeswax with its beautiful golden color and subtle honey aroma.
Do your candles contain any added fragrance?
No. Our candles are unscented with no added fragrances or essential oils. Beeswax naturally carries a warm, honey-like scent that varies slightly by season and floral source.
What type of wick do you use?
We use 100% cotton, lead-free, and zinc-free wicks, designed for a clean, consistent burn with minimal smoke.

How long do your tealight candles burn?
Our beeswax tealights typically burn 4–5 hours per candle, depending on room temperature, airflow, and the type of tealight holder used.
Why does beeswax burn longer than other candles?
Pure beeswax has a naturally higher melt point, allowing it to burn longer and brighter than soy or paraffin candles — without synthetic hardeners or additives.
Can I use your tealights in warmers or holders?
Yes. All Lumin Wick tealights come in durable aluminum cups, which fit standard tealight holders, oil warmers, aromatherapy diffusers, and centerpiece lanterns.
Do beeswax candles produce soot?
Beeswax produces very minimal soot when properly trimmed. For best results:
- Keep the wick trimmed to ⅛ inch
- Avoid placing candles in areas with strong air drafts
- Use a snug-fitting holder for tealights

Are beeswax candles safe and non-toxic?
Yes. Pure beeswax is one of the cleanest-burning candle waxes available. It contains no chemicals, no petroleum derivatives, and no artificial dyes.
Do beeswax candles help purify the air?
Beeswax releases negative ions when burned, which may help reduce dust and impurities in the air. While not a medical claim, many customers notice the air feels fresher.
How should I store my beeswax candles?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Beeswax can naturally “bloom” (a soft white film), which is harmless and can be polished off with a soft cloth.
